这是唯一一个我看完中文书，再去看了电影，最终还是忍不住买下英文版品读的故事。作为一个以剧情曲折为卖点的故事能这样吸引读者也是少有（当然，中文翻译的瑕疵也是买入英文版的一个理由）。
内容无须过多评价，只说说自己的感悟吧。爱情其实也想下棋，棋逢对手才能长久。两个人你来我往，Amy的缜密运筹，Nick的绝处逢生，只有彼此才能满足对方，才能将这个充满危险和诱惑的游戏进行下去。剧情的转折固然引人入胜，之后的回味又是一番滋味。
不过对于纸质有些疑问，似乎不是国外常用的再生纸，颜色偏白，但并不影响阅读。
从一开始妻子失踪，到中间穿插的夫妻间的温柔，到逐渐的转变，到最后想都想不到的结局，属于构思方面的大师级作品。
对于美国中西部的描写很真实。值得一读。
简直让人毛骨悚然。读后感是：以爱的名义进行禁锢，都不是爱。Amy爱Nick从而用法律禁锢他；Desi爱Amy从而用豪宅禁锢她；Amy的父母爱Amy从而用金钱禁锢她。太可怕。不过，要是有人用金钱禁锢我，倒是可以考虑一下的了。
小厚本本，手感还不错哦
个人觉得前段比较沉闷，中段以后比较精彩，感觉很电影的情节/节奏，整体来说还是不错，单词不会太难懂。
刚开始看，作者用了大量口语词，或者生活中的词，每一页都要查好几个。纯是硬着头皮看，买都买了，不能不看！看了三四章以后觉得适应了点，看评论有人还说这书简单！尼玛，绝对超出六级一大截，慎买，开始并不精彩，我在期待后面的情节。
第一次买书籍然后在亚马逊评论，对，第一次，首先要说一下的就是快递很给力，可能是广州仓库发货的原因，书籍第二天就到手了，翻了翻，页数完整，印刷清晰，问一问，哈，可能是外文书买多了，耶，还是那股熟悉的味道！话说，简装的书对于喜欢轻便，可随身携带阅读的朋友来说确实是个不错的选择，但不得不说，收到的书还是有些瑕疵，例如封面有些褶皱，可能是运输过程造成的，但总体来说，优点多于缺点，也就满足了，剩下的就是好好去阅读它，粗略的看了看，生词还是蛮多的，看来又要拿着手机词典阅读了，加油！
纸质，印刷在简装本里都算不错。美国印刷的international edition。exceptional.
刚开始读，觉得这本小说可能没什么意思，就是一本家人失踪的书，但越往后读，越觉得情节出乎意料。非常喜欢这本小说。

整本书找不到一个定价，印刷质量无法直视。
只看了几十页，带点幽默，但总体来说还是有压抑感的。R级玩笑遍地，孩纸太年轻请绕道
