说《达芬奇密码》是稗史书，全无诋毁它的意思，相反，我倒是非常欣赏作者对历史的解读。之所以说稗史，是因为对于中国人，书中描述的基督、异教、抹大拉的玛丽亚、圣杯、皇室血液等等都似乎遥远了一些。
我是把它当做拓展思维的书来看的，就像书的封底《华盛顿邮报》给出的点评一样“Read the book and be enlightened”。
这本书激发了我极大的兴趣，和让我对比甲骨文中出现的很多汉字，这些汉字明白无误的指向了中华民族早起崇拜的女性神“帝”（帝字是会意字，由▽，一，个（向上符号））构成，表示向上追溯到最早的女性始祖之意。这种人类早期的女性神崇拜和自然崇拜在全世界范围内都是相似的。
而圣杯实为女性子宫之说，亦见于甲骨文的“丕”字（读做pei，表示女性怀孕），因为丕字有女性受孕意，故其后产生了“胚”和“杯”字，这是巧合吗？还是人类早期的生命认识中存在着共性？
正视因为这本书中的历史介绍，让我重新拿出好几年前购买的"Holy Blood, Holy Grail"这本书，我想信仰是一回事，历史是一回事，科学又是一回事。读书就是为了激发思考和批判，我想这本小说的魅力就在此吧。
国外（英美）书店里的书大都小而轻，若是中国人第一次看到会觉得是盗版。实际上这种书是利用循环材料制作的，纸质跟国内的比显得很粗糙，但是重量很轻，再加上比较小，所以很方便携带。
相比之下，国内图书的特点是：印刷精美，纸张上乘，重量较大，体积也较大，很适合摆着。
图书印刷方法和材料的选择很可能是根据不同的消费心态来设计的：大多数中国人买书是为了摆着给别人看的，欧美人买书是为了随身带着给自己看的。
Dan Brown is such an excellent writer! Everyone should read the Da Vinci Code, especially for those who's major is English. I bet your teacher in university never will teach you to write like this. You can see how an original American writer depicts the mood, surrounding, thrill, love, and fear. However, if you want to digest this novel thoroughly, you'd better be well of some religious belief, and Latin, Spanish culture as well.
像这些价位比较低的原版小说，名著等等，都采用了环保纸张，所以可能质量不是很好。就我了解，美国大多数这种类型的都是采用这种‘环保纸’。而像哈利波特等都采用了质量较高，纸张结识的同时有很轻便的较贵的纸张。
因此请读者想清楚再买。是支持环保还是想收藏善本？
书很轻巧，很适合带在身边空闲时拿出来阅读。
适合英文水平较高的英语爱好者阅读，享受英文阅读的乐趣，读后会有不少收获。纸质轻巧，便于携带。总体上很不错。
After so many months of waiting,the label finally transferred from"out of stock"into"in stock"!!! It nearly give me an instant shock after I saw it,Actually, basically I haven' t embrace any bit of hope of the republishing of this edition which was initially published by Bantam Press in 2004, it just has a time gap about 8 years between then and current,I just put it into my Collection Section for remembrance of the permanent vanishment of this great book now and then,but thank god as well as Amazon,this book eventually deserve its existence again!!I would like to use the word"Miracle"to expre"rest":"ss my merriment at this moment,I can't wait but reading it again as soon as possible.I enjoy the feeling of immersing into the endless mysteries and puzzles related with ancient history in Dan brown's world,but who can announce that such a world is not real"
