Glad to see a happy ending finally, M. Have been through a lot for loving R. I wonder why do we like this kind of love stories. They fall in love, they have misunderstandings difficulties between them, but they tried hard and love leaded them a happy ending.
Always this kind of stories in books and tv.
Compared to a sad endings, I really like the happy endings.
Very good English novel. Comparatively simple language with very good story setting and character design.
Some said it's not special or noble enough to always have a happy ending. However, who can say that we are not expecting a happy ending from the bottom of our heart?
I read the last chapter on the train in London. When I read Riya and Madhav finally met in the bar, I cried, even though I could expect that from the previous plot. It is love itself that always touch the softest place in our heart.
I also like the way that author narrated the inside feeling th"rest":"at Madhav had all the time. The way he was speaking to himself is the nuggets that actually happen in our daily life when we talk to ourselves. Writing them down like this makes us feel we are in it and we could feel exactly what the protagonist feels.<br /><br />I love the novel. I finished it in two days and now am very interested in Indian literature and even life. I checked the recipe of Litti-chokha on google and even really made it myself!"
I think whoever wrote the book is narcissistic and chauvinistic . He analyzed girls like they are a project and he's not funny at all . And in this love story , this girl is just a way to achieve his own romance , all he loves is his feature of being romantic and he enjoy it

第一次写评论，是因为我觉得看完这本书后不得不写。我觉得这是一本充满正能量的书，一个拨动人心弦的故事当我看到男主角为了学校在舞台上面对的所有人演讲时，开始止不住的掉眼泪，当我看到男主角和女主角多年之后终于在纽约相遇女主角正在唱you are beautiful ....他们四目相对时安静的掉眼泪时 我感觉我完全能体会他们当时的眼泪和心情 仿佛我就是一个站在他们不远处的旁观者 默默的看着这一切 最种他们回到了他们的学校继续他们平凡但却伟大的事业 也让人感动 也让我想起了三傻的结局，内心感动不已。
很感人！一共3章，第一章讲男主M追求女主R的校园爱情，很温馨。第二章讲两人分手以后再度重逢，重燃旧情，女主得癌症死去，男主无限悲伤。（茶花女套路）第三部神反转，男主无意发现了女主的日记-女主竟然没死！男主找啊找，终于两人在纽约小酒吧相遇，过上了幸福甜蜜的生活（印度版神殿侠侣）。
读起来让人汹涌澎湃，感情置入，仿佛就是自己正在经历一般，而且写作技巧和方法的巧妙更增加了可读性。语言直白且独具特色，让人愉快畅读
故事很曲折，但是Madhav的真挚太感人。心理描写有点搞笑但是很真诚并且让人为之动容。感觉在看一部没有宝莱坞歌舞的宝莱坞电影！
