一直很想了解西方的历史，在外文书店看到这本书，之后就直接在亚马逊上下单了。而这本书给了一个绝佳的学习机会：内容详实丰富，每一大段历史之后还配有照片说明。
书拿到的时候有气泡纸包裹，还有一个外箱，卖家对于书的保护值得赞赏！
作者的心血之作，史料详实。原著是如此的精彩，但民主与建设出版社出版的译作《耶路撒冷三千年》却是如此的糟糕，令人惋惜。译作中的很多文字基本上是不知所云。
