内容简介 The Art of Investigative Interviewing, Second Edition, details the techniques that can be used by interviewers in any setting to detect indications of deception and respond to them appropriately. With all-new case studies and a new chapter devoted to interrogative ethics, this revised edition has been entirely updated while maintaining the lively, instructive writing style of the first edition.

Drawing elements from psychology, philosophy, and sociology, Charles Yeschke applies the theory of human need to the process of investigative interviewing. This theory is the most important component of the successful interview and is crucial to an investigator's ability to correctly interpret human behavior.

* Covers the rising debate over interviewing and interrogative ethics
* Provides all-new case studies demonstrating the application of the author's techniques
* Shows how to boost your success rate by replacing coercion and confrontation with persuasion and communication
作者简介 Charles L. Yeschke has been working in the investigation field for more than 30 years. As an FBI special agent, Mr. Yeschke was certified as a polygraphist and conducted hundreds of detection of deception examinations in various federal criminal investigations. He has authored numerous articles and publications on interviewing. Currently, he is the proprietor of Charles Yeschke Associates, a firm providing confidential investigation services, security/loss prevention consulting, and training seminars.

"Performance Through Learning is a terrific book that does a great job in presenting the challenges and opportunities of knowledge management and organizational learning. The case studies highlight best practices of companies around the world. I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone interested in preparing organizations to successfully face the future." -- Dr. Mike Marquardt, Professor, George Washington University; Author, Building the Learning Organization "This is the most definitive work I know of that clearly links knowledge management strategy with enhancements in organization learning. Complete with several first-hand accounts of related case studies, Gorelick and her collaborators make it clear to all who will listen that KM has become a powerful, new social science, not a fleeting technology, and is here to stay!" -- Mark W. McElroy, President, Knowledge Management Consortium International (KMCI), CEO, Macroinnovation Associaties, LLC "Most books on KM focus on either practice or theory. This one brings them together using real experience to bridge across know-what, know-how, know-why and know-when. Regardless of where you are on your KM journey, this book will help you take a next step." -- Kent Greenes, Chief Knowledge Officer & Sr VP, SAIC
