"China is a driving force in the global economy. Traditionally, China has held scholarship and literature in high regard. Publishers from around the world want to have access to Chinese authors, scholars and its publishing scene. This is the most complete book ever written on how to do that. The Chinese can be fully integrated into the international dialogue with more international publishers participating actively in China. This book is a great map!." --Patricia Schroeder, CEO, American Association of Publishers
"China is getting more and more important for the international publishing industry. But we still lack knowledge about the dynamic changes that are happening on China's book market right now. This book provides more information and insight - just what international publishers need! I hope it will inspire many western readers." --Volker Neumann, Chairman Frankfurt Book Fair
"Xin Guangwei has written the book that all of us engaged with the business of global publishing have been waiting for; a truly authoritative and comprehensive guide to publishing in China, now one of the world's most important book markets. This book is essential reading for all serious players in the international book trade." --Professor Paul Richardson, Director Oxford International Centre for Publishing Studies, Oxford Brookes University
