The reason for Steve Jobs’ resignation as Chief Executive Officer was his long history of medical problems. He suffered pancreatic cancer and had had a liver transplant.

China Mengniu Dairy Co. has appointed Sun Yiping as chief executive, with immediate effect. The Hong Kong-listed company said in a statement that Sun replaces Yang Wenjun, who has completed two terms as the chief executive of Inner Mongolia Mengniu Dairy (Group) Company Ltd., the company's main operating subsidiary. Yang confirmed that he has no disagreement with the board, the statement said.
