可惜没有精装版的,将就着看看吧~

Personally I don't think this book is just for children. In the busy world we live in where everyone now appears to live on their smart phone, even out at dinner, this book is a great reminder in my opinion, that time with others is important. I ordered this to give as gifts to adults, and the responses from the recipients after reading this were all very positive! I first read this MANY years ago, and without giving the story away, it has stayed with me. A lovely book with a message that is for all ages!

... even if you don't buy it here. Get it from the library, borrow it from someone who already has it (but not me - I'm not giving mine up). This story is from the same man who wrote "The Never Ending Story", but this one is a much simpler, more intimate story. I'd say that "Momo" is 'The Hobbit' to "The Never Ending Story"s 'Lord of the Rings' - except they aren't narratively connected at all. Still, this book is an easy read, but a very enjoyable one.

This copy came from the UK, mainly because no one on this side of the pond publishes it. It took a little longer to arrive of course, but you have to expect that. The price was acceptable as well, although I wish I could have gotten it in a Kindle format...

This was written by the man who gave us The Neverending Story and deserves just as much attention. A beautiful message about the lure of consumerism and the true value of time and being present to those we love, complete with a young and intrepid homeless orphan and an intelligent tortoise. Recommended for all ages.

Wow. I didn't even know this book existed. You would think a book by the author of The Neverending Story would be on every library shelf. Our public library doesn't stock it in English, only Korean, so I ordered it on Amazon. It shipped from England. This book is fantastic, great storytelling. What an amazing message in a children's book. I think adults would benefit from reading it more than children.

I read this book many years ago and thought of it the other day. Being too busy for things had crept back into my life and Momo came to mind. I couldn't find my old copy so I ordered a new one.
Although it is probably geared more toward young adults, it was an enjoyable read and reminded me of the importance of stopping to smell the roses. This is all too important in today's connected world of texting, emails, cell phones, and a constant barrage to produce or be productive.
This book carries a lesson that is more valuable.
