Wow. What a great find. I was looking for dinosaur books for toddlers. And came across this one. Had to buy it when I read about it. It's perfect in every way. Colorful pictures to teach colors. Board book pages are sturdy. The comparisons used to describe the dinosaur features are very appealing. The toddler will surely know the thing being compared to even before knowing what dinosaur they are being compared to. Which in a way makes a very interactive read between parent and child. The dinosaurs are more animated and cute rather than appearing realistic and scary. Which is perfect for the suggested age group. I would definitely buy this again to gift it to friends and family.

I purchased this for my 3 year-old niece and 2 year-old nephew. I wanted to find them a somewhat educational dinosaur book since they had taken an interest in "monsters". I chose this one mainly because it has simple pronunciation guides for the dinosaurs' names, which will be helpful when the kids' mom and dad read the book to them. Or, when the kids start reading on their own. Besides that handy feature, many of the pages are fold-out. My nephew liked this feature a lot. He seemed to like the tactile aspect of the book, basically fun to play with.

If you're looking for a sturdy dinosaur book that's a bit interactive and parent-friendly, I'd highly recommend this one.

Another winner in Franceschelli's series of "block" books. These books feature clever illustrations and thick cardstock pages that stand up to even the most fervent fan of dinosaurs. You can't go wrong with any of this series, but for young children interested in dinosaurs, this one is a real page-turner.

My kid's favorite book these days. She loves when her dad reads to her. This book in fun because the front page tells stories which she understands completely like rabbits and giraffe. Then the second pages introduces the dinosaurs. The book is really well designed. Highly recommend.

We've gotten a lot of mileage out of this book, probably more than any other. It's a great kid's book in all aspects. It's informative, has fun pictures and a great comparison concept.
