As with other Sid the Science Kid books, this one doesn't disappoint. It gives a nice explanation of what a cavity is. I purchased this book looking for one that describes the dental tools used for filling a cavity. This book does not satisfy that criteria. However, it is a fun and well informative book nonetheless. My 6yo enjoyed it and loves that it reminds her of the show. Great book to have!
My 3 year old loves Sid the Science Kid so when I seen this book I knew it was a must have. Reading this book reinforced tooth brushing because he didn't want a cavity. By the way we had to read this book every night for weeks, he liked it so much, and it helped with his first visit to the dentist, he knew why he needed to keep his teeth clean and healthy.
Sid the Science Kid is a great fun way to teach a child in many areas of every day learning and living. I highly recommend any book or dvd from Sid the Science Kid. Your child will not be disappointed. My child has all the books and dvds. Serve was excellent with Amazon and I always receive before the expected delivery date.
