My daughter is a huge fan of Dora, and loves this simple book about colors. There is one color featured on each set of two pages (meaning when you open the book the color, listed in both English and Spanish is on the left page, and the image relating to that color is on the right page).
I like that the book is simple, without a lot of text and she can flip through it on her own, even saying some of the colors aloud (she's 2 1/2).
This book is a great value for the money, and with Dora board books being hard to find (for me at least), I'd buy it again. In fact, I have bought it for my niece as well. The book is the smaller size, similar to the Dr. Seuss small board books.
This is a great book for kids. Not only does it teach them colors, it teaches them the name of the colors in English and in Spanish. It's also easy for non-Spanish speaking parents to learn, as well. Bright, colorful pictures accompany the words and feature popular characters from the TV show, Dora, the Explorer. This book is read by me on a daily basis, usually more than once, and loved by all.
My toddler is a Dora fan!! this book is the perfect compact size for a toddler. its an easy way to learn colors and it keeps her attention for a long time.. perfect for car rides... or just when we are at home and I am busy in the kitchen or cleaning .. she will sit and play with it for along time..
I bought this book for my 18 month old son who loves everything Dora!!! Is is cute and simple with very nice illustrations. It is a very good book to help little ones learn their colors. If you have a Dora fan in your crew, you can't go wrong with this adorable little board book!
Another great board book for our little 3 year-old granddaughter! She loves Dora and these board books. What better way to start children reading??
