This is a fun Maisy popup book with entertaining slider/tab pages with a popup "finale" of a Ferris wheel that you can spin around. My daughter is crazy about this popup book. I admit that I have hidden this book on occasion just to give myself a break from reading it 15 times a day to her and to get more variety in our reading choices, lol. I agree that the text is very short and limited (though all of the Maisy books I've seen are short on text) but the pages are interesting and will spark questions and comments from your little one regardless. And I agree that the tabs can be easy to tear. I've had to do some repair work with scotch tape more than once. So perhaps this is a not a great choice for a child who might be too rough with this kind of book. The enjoyment factor is worth a little scotch tape work, though.

You can't go wrong with Maisy books but this one is really special! The pop ups are very creative and my son loves to pull the tabs. It is definitely a special book with a simple storyline, excellent illustrations and fantastic bookmaking work.

Every page was torn. I threw it away. All of the pop-ups were ripped out. This should not have even been made available for sale.

This book is great! I'm just sad that it is a very short book. Other than that Lucy Cousins is by far the most innovative artist
in the world today.

We have all of the Maisy pop-up books and really enjoy them. We have given many as gifts. Maybe not a good choice if your kid is rough on books.
