The advice is generally quite good. The format is a bit odd, framing the advice in the form of a speech that consists primarily of a speech given by an old codger quoting old saws published by the author, but that's mildly amusing.

Did not enjoy not my kinda reading, not what I expected

Reading Franklin is always a pleasure, his writing grabs your attention and makes you want to read more. I enjoy reading the founding fathers as, I feel that it gives incite and context to the times and situations that they were faced with, before and after the revolution.

This was a nice, short little piece of writing. Kind of tough to get through, not a real page turner, but has some decent advice in it, and is short.

An insightful personal account written vividly by Benjamin Franklin. An useful tool to get inspired in life and take corrective actions.
