价格便宜，不过印刷粗糙

I remember absolutely loving this series as a kid. My 5-year-old son was getting into the Cam Jansen mysteries, so I thought he would love these. He does like the stories, and so does my 4-year-old. They are short enough that we can read 2-3 of them before bed. They both try to guess how he solved the case. However, unlike the Cam Jansen series, they are not usually able to guess these. They are a little too advanced. But they still LOVE for me to read it to them and explain the solutions. I will say too that the writing is a little old school, some of the phrasing and vernacular just don't register with my boys. Doesn't diminish the story, but makes it harder for my 5-year-old (who usually has no problem reading chapter books) to struggle with some of the words. Still a great addition to any little boys book collection!

My seven year old son and I are really enjoying reading these books together. I like how each chapter has a mystery to solve, and it is developing my son's reading comprehension. So, it is good for his reading skills and quality, fun time together.
