This is our second 'block' book. We have the alphabet one as well, and my daughter loved that so much I decided that another one we needed another! The countablock is just as awesome as alphablock. It counts UP to 100. Numbers 1 through 10 have their own individual pages, as well as any leading number i.e. 20,30,40. The pictures are bold and bright, and very detailed. My daughter LOVES this book. It really helps her with learning how to count, and I couldn't be happier about it.

While the book's pages aren't fragile, they're not as durable as a traditional cardboard book either. This is understandable given the number of pages they needed to cover.

Like Alphablock, this is a great book.

I've been teaching ECE for a decade and this is my favorite number book I've come across. I love the "before and after" approach to the visuals, the way the counting is structured by tens, and that the book itself is sturdy and manageable for small hands. I give this book often to my students at the end of the year. They all love it.

The BEST book for teaching numbers (1 to 100). Additionally, there are tons of cause and effect scenarios that teach preschoolers interesting connections that they may not otherwise realize at this age. It's a winner!!! So are the other 2 books from this collection - CountaBlock and CityBlock.

This book and the alphablock book are my 3 year old's new favorite books! I love the cutout pages. It's a MUST BUY for your young ones! I even bought them both for a one year old bday party gift! And they loved it too! Might be end up being my "signature gift", I haven't decided yet. :).
