非常适合Grade1的孩子。
I've started using this book with my 1st grader (Fall). I believe he tests around 85+ percentile for reading for his grade. This is our first focused foray into reading comprehension. I also own books by Kumon and Spectrum and Sylvan and others, but at least as a starting point, I think this one is the best for the following reasons: (1) I really like how the passages are grouped by skill such as "Main Idea"; (2) the passages are not too long so that the passage and questions fit on one page so it's not too intimidating; and (3) the content seems interesting.
I read the reviews and decided to get this book for my 5 year old who just started to read. It starts slow and then it picks up and he loved it as it was not very overwhelming. We did about a page a day and within 1 month he was ready to read The magic tree house series. It gave him the confidence that he needed. I highly recommend it.
I purchased this along witg two other reading comprehension books and this by far the best one. It is much easier for my child to understand as it starts with basics then gets a little harder but is do able as it eases the learing process. The other workbooks were too difficult right from the beginning with long stories causing my child to get overwhelmed and frustrated. I highly recommmend this book!!!
I love how this book has small realistic passages and then questions for kids to answer. I really like the setup of this book and the fact that it's really helping my daughter with her reading comprehension, plus it actually calls her attention...she is not "bored" when working on it.
these readings are interesting for the grade level and the readings are short with multiple choice or fairly short answers, a nice change from many other reading workbooks that have longer readings and require more writing when answering questions. the skill to get used to reading and answering test questions is getting started, I liked this workbook as a supplement for my son who also enjoyed doing this workbook as homework supplement, the short readings with q&a get the point across imo. this workbook may seem too easy to some though, but it was great for my purpose, we flew through it rather quickly though, it would be nice if it had even more pages to it, like double, but still well worth what we paid.
