这本书是孩子看时笑个不停，吸引我也和她一起看。兴致起时，她还要读几页给我听，真是一本超级搞笑超级符合孩子心理的书，我这个大人也经常有共鸣，笑得眼泪都出来了。适合6-9岁孩子的心理发展，有许多只可意会不可言传的笑料，在字里行间传递，太佩服作者了。

My son started reading these in his 1st grade class, and he came home from school and told me all about them. So I went to our local library they didn't have any in stock nor did the others in our county. And he asked for 1 or 2 for christmas, and I noticed they had a whole set! I can't wait to see his face on Christmas when he sees these. A good buy your kids will love these books.
I bought this bookset because my 8 yr old son who hates to read brought one home from school one day and was really enjoying it. I still have to argue with him about his reading time in the evenings but now he never selects any other books because he knows that he will get a good laugh reading these. We are working our way through the set a couple chapters a day. Great buy.
These series are captivating and overall a perfect read for any kid. Yes, the language is wacky and themes at first appear disrespectful, etc. But. Your child will get sucked into AJ's world from the very first page AND will very quickly figure out that all of AJ's bashing of his teachers is actually a smart ploy of these same very teachers to create a fun learning environment. So, no, the series are not disrespectful of schools/teacher. On the contrary, it is about smart funny teachers and AJ's take on them. These series will turn any hesitant reader into an avid reader. Buy these books, watch your child fall in love with reading!!
Its difficult to encourage kids who do not like to read to continue to read until the end. My Weird School set of books are so interesting and funny that my kids actually look forward to knowing what happens next. Our hero AJ is an anti-hero. He hates school, sometimes even takes advantage of his friends, and often does not do the politically correct thing to do. Like in the real world, we all have to face decisions and we don`t always do the right thing. One of our favourite books is Ms Coco is Loco - simply hilarious. Bound to insult any respectable poet.

My 10 year old, who struggles with reading and thus avoids it, has been reading these non stop. It was a series that she suggested and requested so I was fairly confident that she would enjoy the subject matter, but I was concerned that her frustration with the reading process would outweigh her enjoyment--not so!! We're very happy with this purchase.
