这本书还是非常不错的,喜欢
I loved this story as a child, and I especially loved the illustrations. My favorite were the pictures of the oranges, apples, milk and lollipops. I remember staring at those pictures for a long time in amazement (again, that was when I was a little kid). Anyway, I remember loving it so much that I decided to get it for my daughter and she loves it to. After reading it I sometimes show her the little movie clip from Dumbo where Casey Junior is climbing the hill and saying "I think I can, I think I can" and she really enjoys that too. I highly recommend this book!
This is a great book. I wanted a version of this story that was a little easier for younger children to follow than the original. This book does simply the text without altering the actual story. The illustrations are also great!
Was disappointed only by the condition in which the book arrived. It was in a bubble case mailer, but was more in acceptable or fair shape. I ordered a book supposed to be in good condition, but it arrived bent completely in half and rather beat up.
My son loves this story. We have the book already but it's written weird and I have a hard time getting into a rhythym when reading it aloud. This version of the book is written a lot better! Keeps our attention and my son loves it
The book itself is wonderful (5 stars). My disappointment was with the supplier. I was trying to get the book to my married daughter who was struggling with a frustrating job situation and needed encouragement quickly. I thought a copy of the book from her childhood would give her a boost to her confidence and make her smile, but it wasn't delivered in a timely manner. Also she thought it had been sent to her in error, because there was no indication in the shipping material that it was from me.
My son loves it.
