先买的goodnight moon，没想到不到一岁的儿子这么喜欢，现在就更是每晚临睡前的必读项目了！决定再买剩下的两本，相信一定不错的！这套书画面精美，语言简单又押韵，即使孩子不懂得意思也会欣赏其中像童谣一样的旋律。强烈推荐！
说实话，我不知道是不是由于印刷地的原因，朋友从加拿大寄来的“Goodnight Moon"(墨西哥印刷的）页面里的颜色就要正和鲜艳许多，明眼就看出来两本的不同。特别是绿色和红色，因为都是讲的小兔子的生活，房间的场景和布置在一致的情况下，亚马逊买的这一本颜色就偏淡，而且淡许多，反正看到不自然。有盗版的嫌疑。
木板书，书壳子是镜面的感觉，朋友从加拿大寄来的“Goodnight Moon"不是镜面的书壳子。
小宝快三岁，最喜欢的就是“Runaway Bunny"（京东上买的），这下三本经典都集齐了。

孩子很喜欢的书，每天都要读好几遍。
I can't explain why my 2-year-old loves this book so much, but he does. We've borrowed it from the library so many times over the last year we finally just got him his own copy for Christmas. When we have it from the library, it's the only thing he wants to read. When we have to give it back, he talks about it and repeats snippets to himself from memory.
I thought it was an odd book at first -- so different from what I was expecting, I suppose -- but I have come to enjoy it very much myself. Another reviewer said it grows on you and I agree with that. It is a gentle, calm world, full of the kind of observations a child would make, expressed in the way a child would express them. It has also generated a lot of fruitful bedtime conversations with my son -- about family relationships, about the rhythms of the day, about "the way things used to be."
I'm happy to be adding this to our permanent collection and I know my son will be, too.
We purchased this since Goodnight Moon was a classic and hit. There is a reason why this one is not as well known. The rhyming and story is poor and it is very apparent that this book and the Runaway Bunny were just a way to further capitalize on Goodnight Moon's success. It's clear that there was not much thought put into writing this book. I was going to give this a 2 star but I will say that some kids still like it and for the purpose of learning to read simple letters there is still some educational value.
This is supposedly the sequel to Goodnight Moon, which my son has made me read 16,000 times to him. My World - not so much. My son will not let me get past the first page of this book, and I feel bad saying that because I know it is considered a semi-classic or maybe even a classic? This book sits on the bottom of my son's toy chest and the nightly ritual of Goodnight Moon still continues until I can hopefully find a replacement.
Like just about everyone who purchased this book, we ordered it because my daughter absolutely LOVES Goodnight Moon. This book was just strange. It just kind of goes through and compares "my" things to Mommy and Daddy's things.
I hated it the first time I ready it, but it has started to grow on me. My daughter doesn't mind it and will sit through it, but I think that's only because the illustration is so familiar. When she sees specific things that were also in Goodnight Moon, she tells them goodnight and quotes from the other book,
I wouldn't buy this on again.....
EDIT: I'm upping my review from 2 to 4 starts. My daughter now refuses to read Goodnight Moon without following it up with My World.
We are big Goodnight Moon fans. I was excited to see this book advertised as a companion to Goodnight Moon. While it's still colorful like Goodnight Moon, the flow of the book isn't as great. The cadence in Goodnight Moon seems to flow more easily than My World. The story seemed a little more for older children than younger babies. I will still continue to read it to my daughter, but just not as much as Goodnight Moon
