作者简介

Philip Jodidio (born 1954) studied art history and economics at Harvard, and edited Connoissance des Arts for over 20 years. His books include TASCHEN's Architecture Now! series, and monographs on Tadao Ando, Norman Foster, Renzo Piano, Jean Nouvel, and Zaha Hadid. He is internationally renowned as one of the most popular writers on the subject of architecture.

Excellent review of numerous new architects working around the world. Fabulous photos and drawings of amazing buildings. The tri-lingual aspect makes it somewhat bulky and, unfortunately, the English text is in blue and somewhat harder to read than either the French or German.

The author of this book has done a fine job of showcasing recent modern architectural projects of interest to the general population, as well as to architects and structural engineers working in the profession. I am a structural engineer, and I purchased the book because two of my friends, and one of their projects, are featured in the book. I also happened to work on that paticular project, and was interested in having a published record of the project along with my own project files. The book is well written, has wonderful photographs, and is a fine addition to the genre of "coffee table architecture books". Mr. Jodidio is to be commended for writing this book.

Decent condition. Overall good purchase.

Very good collection to own. It has a little bit of the work of many great architects around the world.
