Unique, unusually stunning and creative picture book. Every page is a wonder and joy. Incredible biography of this little known artist. Perfect for classroom use or a child's library.
I read this book at Bart's Books in Ojai, CA. I don't know why I didn't buy it, but regretted it later, and I don't live there. So I just ordered this and had it sent to my friend. It is illustrated beautifully, and the beautiful story is based on a French woman who actually lived.
Although the original copy went missing, the replacement copy reached me within 2 days after my notification to the bookshop. Excellent service! The book is beautifully illustrated and narrated - a brief and interesting introduction to Louise Bourgeois.
Love this book. Will be giving it to my 3-year-old granddaughter. Beautiful illustrations.
I heard about this book & looking at it on the Amazon web site I was
excited about it. So I bought it for my young Grandaughter and she
loved it.
