Rosemary Wells began her career in children's books working as a designer at a publishing house, where she published her first book - an illustrated edition of Gilbert & Sullivan's I Have a Song to Sing-O. The success of her second book, Noisy Nora, helped earn her the reputation as one of today's bestselling and beloved picture book authors. And after creating the illustrations for My Very First Mother Goose, readers also discovered her considerable talents as an illustrator. "When I was two years old I began to draw," she says, "and my parents saw right away the career that lay ahead of me and encouraged me every day of my life." As a child who was constantly surrounded by books, Wells has always recognized the importance of reading and literacy campaigns, and she has long been a passionate and dedicated advocate for literacy and education. Her 150 books for children have received numerous awards and honors, including more than 20 ALA Notable Children's Book citations and a Boston Globe/Horn Book Award. She lives in Greenwich, Connecticut. For more information about Rosemary Wells, visit: scholastic.com/tradebooks

很后悔,全书几乎就是一句话“二十分钟。。。”图画也很小,价格相对就很贵了,非常没有必要购买的一本书
They recommended this book at my daughter's preschool and since her nickname is bunny, I thought it would be cute. It basically says "read to your child, it's fun, and one day they will read to you". I expected a little more I guess.
I have always been a reader, and I read to my childrenas soon as they were home from the hospital. Conseqently, they are readers. Later, I read to my grandchildren, and THEY are readers. This book encourages new parents to do something for their children that is easy and enjoyable and has lasting consequences. Read to them.
As a librarian I encourage parents in this endeavor, and this book is one that I use constantly.
I love this book. It is short enough for your child to memorize. It encourages reading and has whimsical pictures. Adorable. Rosemary Wells rocks.
I like the translation of Rosemary Well's "Read to Your Bunny." It is not word for word (which makes it better). It preserves intentions of the English version and makes it sound good in Spanish. We used this at a Parent-Involvement Reading event at the beginning of the year at our bilingual elementary school. If there is a big book version, it would work even better!
As a teacher, I love to give books to all of my friends' babies! This is a great one, as it explains that if you read to your bunny (baby), he/she will then be able to read to you! What a great way to encourage parents to read to their kids!
