书很厚，每页可以撕下来用，但我没舍得。如果只用一本书，这是到目前为止我认为覆盖内容最广最合适的一本，我非常喜欢这本书！最好由家长引导孩子来做这本书，否则对于6、7岁的孩子来说有些茫然，因为确实太大了，共540多页。
书的品质不错，内容为彩色的，字体大概在20号，孩子看上去比较舒服。有些题很有趣，6岁的儿子有时“偷偷”比我要求的多做一页，我想就是因为他喜欢，比如涂色。
价格也挺合理，共544的彩色图书。
内容包括英文单词的读音规律，阅读理解，数学。作为课后练习用非常不错。部分内容与我以前买的一年级用书（该出版社出的另一系列）相同 ，但这种情况很少，所以问题不大。如果没有学过英文，grade 1比较适用（比如公立学校的一、二年级孩子），有一定基础的，可以简单阅读的孩子用用二年级（比如国际学校的一、二年级学生）较适合，只是后边阅读理解题对于一年级的孩子来说略难，可能是受该年龄的理解能力的限制。
书本很好，纸张很舒服，很系统，孩子很喜欢！很喜欢原版的此类书！老大做的~

This is far from a comprehensive curriculum,and it is an extremely misleading title.
It is simply a huge book of worksheets,and poor quality worksheets at that. They claim that the advantage of these worksheets is that they are all in color,but what they fail to mention is that the graphics are just plain ugly, very unappealing to the eye.
They state that all subjects are covered,and again this is a stretch of the truth.
While subjects are covered,they are extremely light,mostly touching on a subject with no comprehension. Math skills are few and far between. Mostly this is a book filled with grammer worksheets,and it is literally overkill on this subject. I am sorry that I wasted my money on this item.
If you are looking for a truly comprehensive curriculum,I highly suggest a curric with the title - Home Education Curriculum : Grade 2 You can purchase this through amazon as well,and it is truly a wonderful curriculum! We are using the second grade level now,and I plan to buy each grade level for our homeschool. I have one gifted and one special ed. second grader that I homeschool. This book is a little easier and works well for the special ed. student. It explains with examples how to do each concept. There is an answer key at the back of the book. I think this would have made for a really good summer bridge book from 1st-2nd grade. Seems too easy for even my standards for a general population common core second grade. I would have marked five stars if there were some science and social studies. Why do the younger grades not focus on that???? Overall, I am pleased we have it to work out of.
I'm a homeschooling mother of two. This book is very affordable and well worth the effort. It is not a complete curriculum it covers language skills and mathematics. The exercises are a lot of fun, the explanations are clear it is indeed comprehensive with regards to language skills.
This book does not claim to be a complete curriculum it claims to comprehensive and it is. But for areas such as biology, social studies and so forth you would need to get additional resources.
My kids have grown up on these books and I highly recommend it.
This is about the sixth Comprehensive Curriculum grade book we bought. It is a great add on to home school and extra help for a child in school. I have ordered this book to do extra work during the summer, getting ready for the new grade. It keeps their minds working. The first 6 weeks of school is review. My kiddos get to move on. I have learned what they study and how to teach the theory with this book. Hope you enjoy it too. I always thought my son is advance for his grade level (well which parent dont think this about their own kid). Yet this book had my son really thinking it out. There were many times when he needed my help with solving a problem. Well there were even times I told him to just skip it because I honestly didnt know the answer at the particular time. The book really help kids learn and hopefully will keep them ahead of their class.
