First of all, I bought this book as required reading for a Library Science class. I have not exactly been a fan of graphic novels, but in a different class, have been able to understand the appeal of some of them. Babymouse is in a class of her own!

What a cute series this is. It is definitely one that will get many reluctant readers to read, and that is the purpose of a book, to read! I fell in love with Babymouse, and am in the process of acquiring the whole series, for my grandkids.

Long live Babymouse!

I got this for my niece based on the fact that my daughter gets them from the library all the time. I'm a huge advocate for kids reading graphic novels/comic books for the artistic value and the total immersion into the universe the artists/authors create, and this series is a fantastic one for kids. It has excitement, values, and adorable characters. <3 Love this series!

I wanted to look into this book because I hadn't really seen any of the graphic novels. My daughter is already an avid reader, so I didn't know if she "needed" a book like this. When I showed it to her, she thought it looked really funny. As anticipated, it didn't take her long to read it, but she said, "I want to read it again. I want to read it again right NOW!"

If your child is a reluctant reader, this comic book formatted novel might help her get inspired, and if she already reads everything in sight, like my daughter, she will probably love yet another way to process text on a page.

We love baby mouse! So does Sarah's teacher. It makes reading fun for reluctant readers.
