书是好的，但由于专业的局限性，我还是发现了几处错误：主要是寒武纪部分，建议编辑下次把比布尔吉斯保存更好的澄江动物群列进去，以正视听。
1.66页，最早的无颌鱼类以及头索动物、棘皮动物化石来自于澄江动物群，时代不是535my,根据新的研究数据应该接近525-520My。
2.73-75页，对于Opabinia和Marrella的复原，寒武纪节肢动物腿肢都是双支型，有内肢外肢组成，复原图把外肢的刚毛安到了內肢上。
3.77页奇虾的复原，看着别扭，身上画着坚硬的背甲，与化石出入太多了。
4.78页Pikaia仅发现于布尔吉斯，时代为505My，而不是530My。
书非常精美，印刷一流，内容详实，另外很重
这里说下亚马逊，书送来之前能否检查下是否有损毁，何必送残次品给顾客，虽然售后退换货一流，毕竟是个麻烦事。另外有些书的包装实在不敢恭维，送到手里都是有轻度破损，能否监督快递公司减少野蛮投递
很精美 从小 十几年前就看过弟弟的那套12本的DK目击者丛书 从此被DK的科学品质所折服 到现在DK的产品还是一如既往的人性化但不失科学的严谨 书皮是立体质感的 很精美 就是包装有些简陋 还好没有弄坏
Got to say that this is yet another fantastic piece of book work done by DK,excellent in quality as always.I was astonoished by the sheer huge size of it at first look,and then when I opened it,guess what,the contents are,oh my gosh,even more exciting,informations of all the covered creatures are arranged out,unlike other same category books,in a geochronological manner,which provides an spectacular new reading experience as if you were travaling through time!Can't wait!
这个书的内容完美，但是亚马逊的运输质量太差。
书里的内容很精美，从细菌出现在地球上一直到人类生活的最近几万年，在这期间出现的微生物动物植物这本书上几乎都有介绍，而且是按照时间先后顺序介绍的，而且每一段时间内出现的动物植物都是分开介绍的。
虽然本人不喜欢3D建模生成的图片，不过这本书中还有大量古生物头骨和骨架的照片。而且知识性上很强。书本身又大又沉，不适合躺在床上看。
书好的没话说，无论是书的质量还是知识量，绝对值这个价，虽然买过不就后就打折了，不过我还是不后悔，DK的书真的超级棒！！！！
这本dk的史前生物的书，开本很大，amazon的包装不错，运输过程基本没有损坏，这个要点赞。
亚马逊的包装改善了，有箱子装着，书基本不会受损。
印刷就科普读物来说很好。
