美国原版引进的书，书的内容很独特，国内的参考资料中很少能找到这样好的，出货和物流也都还不错了
比较简单，基本就是按例子写句子，还有点看图写句。
The book is comparatively thin (45 pages) but appropriately priced for that amount. The stress is on more sophisticated writing including complex sentences, paragraph topics, main idea exploration, run on sentences, etc. The book has a good mix of 'fill in the blank", rewrite the sentence, and write your own story type of exercises. Each exercise has a clear example and there are black and white supplementary drawings as well.
I bought this for my son in 4th.. I pulled him out of school to homeschool him and this book is not what I thought it would be. Very bland and not presented in an inviting way-- I was bored to tears with this so it was hard to keep him focused too.. some pages we skipped because he doesn't know all the famous sayings yet.. other pages were not enough examples for him to follow (eg like personification, simile etc..)
I have used Scholastic Success with Writing to improve my grandson's writing skills. He has progressed from "I hate this. I am running away" to "What are we writing this week and when can I start?" He loves the writing prompts and is getting especially keen on the poetry prompts.
Very well written and organized, I use this to help create lesson plans for my tutoring services. The whole series is very helpful. I gaveit a four because it doesn't cover quite enough. It's meant to be supplemental
This is an excellent book to teach elementary age children beginning writing skills. It breaks down paragraph writing in a very structured and simple manner that any child can understand!
