作者简介

Hans Augusto Rey was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1898. As a child, he spent much of his free time in that city's famous Hagenbeck Zoo drawing animals. After serving in the army during World War I, he studied philology and natural science at the University of Hamburg. He then married Margret Rey and they moved to Montmartre for four years. The manuscript for the first Curious George books was one of the few items the Reys carried with them on their bicycles when they escaped from Paris in 1940. Eventually, they made their way to the United States, and Curious George was published in 1941. Curious George has been published in many languages, including French, German, Japanese, Afrikaans, and Norwegian. Additional Curious George books followed, as well as such other favorites as CECILY G. AND THE NINE MONKEYS and FIND THE CONSTELLATIONS.

These are the original stories, accompanied by two CD's with the same stories as audio books.
The additional info is nice and interesting for the parents, (pictures, historical info, background info) while the paintings and easy text of course are enjoyable for children.

I can see my son enjoying this for the next 3-4 years ...

70周年纪念版，很大的开本、很重、印刷很好。带有两张CD，每个故事读得人不同，有的口音还挺重、不太容易懂。每页之间有停顿。

搞不明白，为什么另外一套带5 CD比这套便宜？反正无所谓了，如果每页停顿的话，1张CD就够了。

挺有意思的，和孩子一起读英语。孩子超喜欢这只调皮的猴子！

7岁的儿子爱不释手，看到george好玩的情节乐坏了；听到cd里生动的配乐，跟着扭屁股。

故事有趣 字也很大 方便阅读 质量好

书的质量很好，孩子很喜欢

这本书有七个故事，厚厚的四百页，都是小猴子原创作者的作品，太经典了，孩子的最爱。虽然在爸妈网上下载了不少绘本资源，但这一本买了值得珍藏。

比想象中的书要大很多，让我眼前一亮，质量很好，画风自然，看起来特别舒服，很有爱！
希望宝宝以后能认真的阅读并喜欢George！

一本厚厚的书，有八个故事，最好的部分是送两张碟，包括其中7个故事的mp3，有配音乐，读得非常好，5岁的女儿很喜欢听（不能完全听懂，但是，用中文讲一遍后，可以自己边听边看），听到有趣的部分，会自己咯咯笑出声音来。
如果这些原版的绘本都有配mp3，就可以多买些书来看了。

我儿子2岁8个月，很喜欢Curious George，这本书很大很厚很重，适合在家阅读，除了经典故事以外，还有介绍插画及文字作者的文字。好奇小猴虽然有中文版的，但是翻译得不给力~
