Category refers to a group oflinguistic items which fulfill the same or similar functions in a particular language such as a sentence, a noun phrase or a verb.
A fundamental fact about words in all human languages is that they can be grouped together into a relatively small number of classes, called syntactic categories,which can generally substitute for one another without loss of grammaticality.This classification reflects a variety of factors, including the type of mearung that words express, the type of afixes that they take, and the type of structures in which they can occur.The most central categories to the syntactic study are the word-level categories.In traditional granunar only about eight categories (calledpartsofspeech) are recognized, but all current theories of grammar have found it necessary to increase this number by the addition of such non-traditional categories as detenniner (Det) , degree words (Deg) and qualifier (Qua).There is as yet no complete consensus as to preasely which lexical categories should be recognized, though the divergence ofviews is not dramatic. Here word level categories are divided into two kinds: major lexical categories and minor lexical categories.Major lexical categories play a very important role in sentence formation.They differ from minor lexical categories in that they are often assumed to be the heads around which phrases are built.Major lexical categories are Noun, Verb, Adjective, and Preposition.They are exemplified below.

听说相对胡的来说貌似容易很多,胡的没看过也不好评论,但这本确实也不难看下去,排版也好看,不错~但估计知识点就没胡的那么全了~

不知道是快递弄损了书本还是书本本身在卖方这里寄存就有了皱纹折痕迹象。书的右上角一小块整体有皱纹折痕。希望卖家今后发货注意一下。毕竟好的好的一本书美观度就这样没有了。

感觉没原来用的那本好用,但要给快递好评,之前地址写错了,随后准允期间服务也很好

这本书是语言学的必用教程,学习时应结合学习手册那本书一起看。

不错,快递也及时,不顾狂风暴雨送快递,戴的书比胡的更易理解

和旧版一样,价格变高了,不过看起来舒服一些

很有用,老师使用的教材,认真看就有收获
