I was collecting them for my future kids. History books are usually written much more academic and serious, and thus, are less likely to captures curiosities and interests of the kids. This collection of books are written to develop kids' interests when it comes to history learning. Everyone is supposed to be informed with the world history, and horrible histories shall be a good gateway reading material, for starters. Both parents and kids will definitely have a laugh when reading it together. BTW, it's cheeeeeeeeeeeeaaaap...
书很好，打开时没有味道，就是亚马逊物流包装太捡漏，只用塑料袋装了一下就发过来。想顺畅看懂书中内容估计要四级或者高中英语水平。
很好的书籍，有趣搞笑，英国人也能很幽默！
优点：英文浅显、插图漫画很好，学英文不错的读物
问题：作者是英国"白左"，揭露英国历史上的黑暗面用力似乎过猛，而且对于一些恐怖事件和场景的描写太详细了，觉得不适合孩子看，大人看多了也感觉有些不舒服

本人喜欢欧洲历史也喜欢英国人的幽默，所以这本书简直是为我量身定做的一样！漫画的画风好可爱，里面的英式幽默时常看得我哈哈大笑！什么时候我们国家的漫画书才能有这样的寓教于乐的效果？
书的内容不错，很有意思。包装跟其它地方的不一样，应该是因为亚马逊上的是英国版，其它地方的好象是国际版吧？运输的包装太简陋（亚马逊一贯如此），就一个塑料袋，跟当当比不了。其中有一本书有一页有印刷质量问题，不过看了下不影响阅读，就懒得折腾了，所以只能打4星。还有，如果家长英文不行，小朋友基本不可能独立读懂内容。
