A must for every synthetic chemist in academia and industry.
作者简介 Keiji Maruoka is a professor of chemistry in Kyoto University in Japan. Having obtained his Ph.D. degree from University of Hawaii, he spent his career working for Nagoya and Hokkaido Universities before taking his current appointment at Kyoto University. Professor Maruoka has authored over 250 scientific publications and has received numerous scientific awards, including the Inoue Prize for Science, the Ichimura Prize for Science, the Japan Synthetic Organic Chemistry Award, and the Nagoya Medal. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a member of the international advisory editorial board of several international journals.
编辑推荐 Review "The book offers a welcome introduction to asymmetric phase-transfer catalysis and can be highly recommended as an addition to chemical libraries." (Journal of the American Chemical Society, September 17, 2008)
"The book should be of a great value and utility for chemists working in the field of organic synthesis in academic and industrial research laboratories. It should convince not only a valuable and general methodology for efficient and economic manufacturing of organic chemicals, but is also becoming an efficient tool for finely stereocontrolled organic synthesis."
