内容简介 Rizzoli's second monograph on this distinguished New York firm follows
Gwathmey Siegel: Buildings and Projects 1982-1992. The sequel presents the exquisite residential work for which the firm is so justifiably renowned--from private apartments in Manhattan to homes in Switzerland and California. Also shown are cultural and institutional works, notably, the U.S. Mission to the United Nations and the International Center of Photography, both in New York, and numerous other campus and museum projects across the United States. The volume also covers the firm's recent corporate work, including the David Geffen Foundation Building in Los Angeles.
作者简介 Charles Gwathmey has been awarded several prizes and honors throughout his career, including the first Yale Alumni Arts Award from the Yale School of Architecture and a lifetime achievement award from the New York State Society of Architects.
Robert Siegel received his master of architecture degree from Harvard University in 1963. In 1983, he organized the Pratt Institute Student Intern Program at the Gwathmey Siegel office, part of his continuing interest in nurturing the skills of young architects.
Brad Collins has designed and edited more than thirty architectural monographs, including most recently for
Rizzoli, Eric Owen Moss Vol. 3.
