The twenty-one lift-the-flap pictorial answers to twenty-one simple riddles are likely to please most children from 18 months to three-plus years old. While an adult will be useful for the first few readings, kids will enjoy countless re-flippings and flappings on their own. The stiff cardboard pages and ingenious construction of the books should hold up well. The art work is not memorable, nor the riddles clever, but their combination is winning.
