内容简介 Using real-life stories and situations, the author vividly describes the business experiences of foreign executives and their companies in China--and the problems that are usually kept hidden. Informative, candid, and entertaining, she unlocks the key "rules of the game" including: the nature of banquets, prevalence of sharp practices, corruption involving officials, sharing power in joint ventures, introducing change into the workplace, and official interference. A must read for westerners doing business with China.
作者简介 Carolyn Blackman is a leading authority on the western business experience in China and has had long and close business relationships with Chinese officials dating back to 1977. A Mandarin speaker, she has given presentations to the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the Australia China Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, and has written for many publications from The Australian newspaper to the Canadian China Business Forum. Carolyn is currently Senior Research Fellow in the Asian Studies Unit at the University of Ballarat, Australia.
