Which of the following is the most important thing for a country’s leader to do to ensure the prosperity and success of the country?
--create more jobs for the unemployed
--improve agriculture and lower the food prices
--provide affordable housing
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Essay:
What is the number one topic on the mind of a country’s citizens? The answer is jobs, jobs, jobs. After that, probably come other less important issues, such as housing shortages and rising food prices, that may have almost everyone worried. It may be said that the majority of the working pollution think that the most important thing for a country’s leader to do is job creation for the success of families as well as the prosperity of the country.
At the family level, the general working people fight for the issues that matter most to them as they are trying to make a better life. If the government fails to deliver, it is logical that its leaderships can be held accountable. These days, although the decline of jobs is often portrayed as the inevitable consequence of globalization and technological change, it is in large part the consequences of a failure of the government leadership. The government’s leadership must explore policies needed to guarantee that all working-age population have the opportunity to succeed and can enjoy economic security. Further, the leadership should be committed to doing everything that can be done to build a full-employment economy, where everyone has a job that pays enough to raise a family and live in dignity. In this respect, the specific economic issue of unemployment or lack of jobs may far outpace all other issues when the public are asked to name the most important thing for a country’s leader to do.
At the national level, the goal of all job creation policies is to stimulate healthy economic growth in a virtuoso cycle. Growth comes first, then more jobs, and then, as higher incomes translate into consumption, more growth, and then more jobs, and then more growth, and so forth. Unfortunately, it is difficult for the country’s leadership to do to maintain full employment, despite the fact that there is nothing more important than creating jobs. As a result of the persistent period of high unemployment, the country is likely to see jobless poverty, political instability, and social unrest, and this phenomenon will reverberate for a generation or more, without enjoying prosperity and success. In view of this, no one will dispute that the government should try to generate employment and bring jobless rates down as low as possible. The issue lies in the measures used by the leadership to achieve that goal. Otherwise, it is not at all easy for the unemployed to cope with the rising food prices and to solve housing problems.
In conclusion, job creation is the most important thing for a country’s leader to do to ensure the success of families and the prosperity of the country. Other things like agriculture and housing are less pressing issues when voices of “jobs, jobs, jobs” are more loudly heard nation-wide.
