Passage 1 is about traffic accidents related to alcohol drinking.
Passage 1:
According to a recent study in Sweden, almost half of all unnatural deaths are related to alcohol. Scientists suggest that 44% of deaths caused by accidents or other events are linked to drinking.//
Globally, 140 million people are suffering from alcohol dependence. Alcohol takes a heavy toll damaging public and private life with countless traffic fatalities and injuries. Now, the situation is worsening.//
The study demonstrates that alcohol is a problem not only when it comes to drunk driving and traffic deaths, but in a significant number of all unnatural deaths. This means that you run a greater risk when you are under the influence of alcohol.//
While overall rates of adult per capita consumption are falling in many countries, young people are too often drinking excessive quantities of alcohol. Indeed, intoxicated drivers are among our worst enemies in road accident.

It has emerged as a powerful means for parties of every type to conduct interactions of every type. For example, it’s changing the way things are bought and sold. Electronic commerce is booming.//
At IBM, we talk about e-business to describe all of the vital business transactions that will be conducted on the Internet. This is the real revolution in the networked world. It’s not just about information technology.//
Because when banks and schools and airlines, hospitals and governments use the Internet to allow people to carry out business transactions, they have to make fundamental changes to the way they currently do things.
