本题是老题，与2006年3月18日的考题完全相同。属于教育类话题“教育的功能”分支。题型属于议论文中的“双边讨论”。

I. Introduction
1. 文章背景：这个世界已经由传统的制造经济转向了知识经济的时代，在这个时代里，知识往往就意味着成功和财富。The world has experienced a switch from traditional manufacturing industry to a knowledge economy, in which knowledge usually means success and wealth.
2. 交代主题：在这样的环境下，一些人认为学校只要提供学术知识，帮助学生找到一份好的工作就可以了。Under such circumstance, there rises a notion that schools and teachers should only focus on imparting academic knowledge students which can help them secure a decent job.
3. 我的观点： 但是我的观点是道德教育同样应当被重视，否则这种教育制度会引起社会埋下隐患。From my perspective, however, moral education should also be placed a premium, otherwise the educational system will pose a huge hazard to society.
1. II. Body 1：让步段
1. 让步：承认理论知识的重要性：不可否认，教授学术科目会给学生带来很多好处。There is no denying that academic subjects can help students succeed in their career. 有了理论知识，他们就可以更容易找到工作，并且得到更高的收入。With the theoretical knowledge they learn from their teachers, graduates are more qualified are more likely to fulfil the requirement of employers, thus gaining a better position and higher payment.
2. 驳斥：只教授学术科目的后果：但是，在没有道德做约束的前提下，这样的学术知识是非常危险的。However, without any moral boundary, such academic knowledge is quite dangerous. 一些掌握了高科技的科学家和政客如果没有道德的约束，那就有可能做出危害人类的举动，如克隆人和生化武器。Scientists and politicians without any moral restriction are highly likely to do some deeds which will pose a hazard to human society, such as human cloning and the development of biochemical weapons.
III. Body 2：交代道德教育的重要性
1. 道德教育的必要性1：预防犯罪：由于年幼无知，青少年很难明辨是非，而此时适当的道德指引可以有效地帮助减少青少年犯罪的几率。Teenagers are too naïve and innocent that they can hardly distinguish right from wrong. Proper moral guidance at this stage can effectively reduce the chance of juvenile delinquency.
2. 论据(此处可讲具体的德育方法)：通过榜样、奖惩的方式，帮学生形成健全的人格。
3. 道德教育的必要性2：社会与人际交往：现代化的社会越来越重视合作与团队精神，而道德水准有问题的人将很难融入社会中去。Modern society focuses on team work more than ever before, and people with poor morality can hardly integrate with society.
4. 论据(此处可讲德育的具体好处)：具备良好品德的人更有可能拥有较大的朋友圈circle of friends，而这对他的事业和生活都是非常有帮助的。
IV. Conclusion
1. 重申观点：综上所述，教授学术科目固然重要，但是必须对学生同时进行道德教育才能培养出人格健全的人才。In conclusion, teaching academic subjects is indeed necessary, but it should be integrated with moral education. Only a successful combination of both can our education system cultivate talents with healthy personality to meet the requirement of modern society.

The table below shows the population sizes and the rates of change for four different parts from 1950 to 2000in the world, and predicted population sizes and the rates of change from 2000 to 2050.
比较四个地区的population的变化，有total population，and average annual change percentage ,一个表中的left part 是1990-2000四个地区(North American，Australia，Europe, Japan)注意不是四个国家，右半部分是predicted2000-2050，two of them increased while two of them decreased.
