Fancy Nancy and her family and friends enjoy a snow day (no school!). Cute story, and the illustrations are like other FN books. This book comes with 50 (non-reusable) stickers that you can use to decorate (make fancy, of course) a page of snowmen on the last page of the book.
it says written "based on Jane O'Conner" so maybe she wasn't the "real" author, but this seemed a little rushed with the vocabulary and not as smoothly in the story as the others. Also I feel like it was lower level vocabulary than usual.
Found Fancy Nancy while shopping at our school's book fair. Shared it with my 4 year old daughter. She asked for more, so I bought quite a few. She loves them. She even started using some of the "fancy" words in her normal conversations with us. Pretty cute and funny. This is a definite winning gift for any young girl.
My kids loved using the stickers to create their snowmen at the end of the book. Great way to personalize and they love looking at their special snowman each time we read it.
My daughter loves reading this book. It's a cute fast read. It also comes with stickers to decorate snowmen.
