When Dave Ramsey was experiencing his own Total Money makeover, he found that journaling was very helpful and effective. Dave says, "Take this journal and record everything happening that seems like a big deal. Record the relationship issues, the debt, the emotions, the setbacks, the victories, and anything else that seems important at the time. "The immediate benefits of writing everything down are twofold. First, writing helps you process the problems and victories. The second immediate benefit of journaling is that you can reread your entry just days-even months-later and gain vital perspective on your progress. "Write it down. You will be glad you did."

I may not have read the description well, but this is not what I thought it was. It's just a blank journal. If you are looking for a blank journal, go buy one from a bookstore or Target. I thought it would have entry places to keep up with expenses and help me budget. Nope, it's just blank lined pages.
This product arrived in perfect condition, but it really seemed a bit much for a bunch of blank pages. They were pretty, but I didn't expect it from Dave. I have a lot of respect for his methods (my husband and I are following them and are on par to be debt free by the end of next year), but this seemed a little much. The cover is beautiful, but if you really follow what Dave has to say, you'll go out and buy a $.30 spiral notebook to keep these notes. The minimal $3 that this costs is still too much for what it is. Of course, since I've already bought it, I ought to use it for what it's for, ought'nt I? Unless anyone else wants to buy it! I'll sell it for $3.50! :)
