I thought the 5 stars would be "The Purrrrrfect Book" so I gave it four stars. But I liked Vesper One, I liked the main idea they chose, I liked the creepy messages, and I'm getting into "Cahills V.S. Vespers" I would recommend this book, to anyone with remote imagination so you could picture yourself in the most action-filled and horror-filled moments. Also I would recommend it to anyone who wants to pass the time, 39 clues are great series and great books.

After waiting to hear from Amy and Dan since the hunt for the 39 clues we get to meet up again.
As with the original series these adventure stories are easy to relate to with timely refrences. They move quickly from chapter to chapter so no wiorries about dragging along waiting for action. There is plenty of suspence and danger to keep you on the edge of your seat but the villians are characturers of what you would expect from an evil villan.

If you read the first series, you should check back in and follow the new adventures, you won't be disapointed.
As with all the 39 clues books, you can always jump right in and not be lost.

Great to see it on Kindle!

First off, our son isn't exactly a book worm. Tends to be more of a high stimulation/entertainment/activity kind of guy but now I catch him staying up after bedtime just to read in bed. Sometimes, gasp, he'll even be reading on a Saturday morning INSTEAD of watching cartoons. You have to LOVE any book that can suck a 12 year old boys away from TV and apps.and this, apparently, is the series to do it.

He liked the first round of 39 Clues books but the Cahills vs. Vespers series has him completely engrossed!

Take the plunge!

The price was good. I bought it for my daughter who wanted to help completer her series. It was in good shape and she was satisfied. Her only complaint was that it took up until the very last day that it was due to arrive for her to receive it. Pretty much everything else we have bought on amazon we have received rather quickly, so she was disappointed to have to wait so long.

I have thoroughly enjoyed each of the 39 Clues books and now am enjoying the Cahills vs Vespers books. As a high school honors English teacher, these books provide easy reading yet have an interesting plot. As a world traveler, I enjoy the historical and cultural information contained in each of the assignments that the Cahills must complete. Upper elementary aged children through adults may find these books fun and exciting to read.
