As a retired air traffic controller and an active pilot, this book will give the pilot a good in depth look at basic and advanced communications. Controllers are bound by the FAAO 7110.65 for phraseology and we hope that pilots use standard phraseology as much as possible. This book will help pilots with using standard phraseology and teach how to get the message to ATC. It's a good review for those that use the system everyday.

A comprehensive and easy to read book. It does seem repetitous however learning is all about repetition. This is specially true about radio communications. Would buy it again!

But much longer than needed, especially for pilots with some experience, like myself. A good editor could reduce by it by 25% - then I'd give it 5 stars.

I bought this bookt to one of my best friend. He is really happy about it and he is recommending this Book . He is very pleased about it. He said " This book coverd all my needs "

It was very helpful.
