Definitely liked this more than 風月連城, if only because 彼岸天都 was a lot happier and more optimistic. However, I think 彼岸 is not as interesting as 紫詔天音, hence my relatively lower rating for the former.
In this book, I loved 卓王孫! (This is a contrast to my only slight liking for him in 紫詔.) It’s so nice to see someone powerful and nearly invincible like him sweep in, after the overwhelming helplessness we saw with 楊逸之 in 風月連城. I know that’s kind of mean to say, especially as 楊逸之 is my second favorite character (after 琴言!). But that sense of powerlessness was tr"rest":"uly a bit much for me.<br /><br />Not to give away any spoilers, but 卓王孫 appears to know telekinesis!! This is probably why he’s virtually unbeatable. Speaking of power and fighting skill, 相思’s 暗器 abilities are remarkable!<br /><br />Thankfully, there were fewer of those super long, overly elaborate descriptions, though there were still some.<br /><br />Back to my point of 彼岸 being less interesting than 紫詔, it could be because 彼岸 was, to me, less eventful than the previous two books. Still, I enjoyed the scenes with 卓王孫, because for once, we see a hero who is so mighty and potent. It was so nice to see him miraculously defeat every foe with such ease! He really gave me hope for a happier ending, since thus far, things have been rather grim and even despairing.<br /><br />One more thing I wanted to say about this book, is that I find the theme of hope and despair and having the will to never give up (have faith) very intriguing. There also seems to be a recurring motif in this series that MIRACLES HAPPEN. The unlikeliest of events may happen that will rescue you when all hope seems to be lost. That, again, may sound very deus ex machina, but to be honest, I feel like “deus ex machina” moments happen very often in real life, even if we don’t notice them.<br /><br />In fact, if I want to analyze the book in a symbolic way, I would even say that the story has Christian themes! Especially with 楊逸之 being so godly and perfect in morals, basically an angel, but then is forced down into the mundane world and tempted by some demonic snake poison. O_O All of this, plus his many sacrifices to save 相思, remind me of Jesus Christ. And the ridiculous amount of pain and suffering 楊逸之 goes through, reminds me of Job from the Old Testament…Let’s just pray that 楊逸之’s ending will be just as happy as Job’s!! 所謂苦盡甘來. :)"
步非烟的这个"華音流韶"系列非常好看!!!绝对不能缺少这一本!!这个系列绝对值得珍藏!!!!!!!!!!!!1

步大的书值得收藏，好喜欢杨逸之，单相思真纠结
这个一星不是打给作者的，而是电子版内容只有前十三章，不是整本书啊亚马逊亲！情何以堪啊！什么时候能把后面的内容补全？
步非烟的文笔真的非常不错，可惜太啰嗦了，一本字数不少的书讲的内容其实非常得少，很不爽。

步非烟的书都蛮好看的，特别是“华音流韶”，文笔优美，语言华丽！
