A thriller full of spectacular effects (Guardian)
作者简介Alex Scarrow used to be a rock guitarist, then he became a graphic artist, then he decided to be a computer games designer. Finally, he grew up and became an author. He has written a number of successful thrillers and several screenplays, but it's YA fiction that has allowed him to really have fun with the ideas and concepts he was playing around with designing games. Using the time jump for a day trip back in time, what can go wrong?
Written history is not as accurate as they thought and being in the wrong place in the wrong time leads the team on their latest adventure.
Unable to open a rift as the target is moving on an erratic course history must be searched for the one known fact to target the window.
So as a book story on its own I think it's quite good and quite well written.
However it feels like there is a major plot point missing. My impression from book 6 was that the future had unfinished business with the time riders but that was totally absent in this instalment.
So far so good. I've only read the first few chapters. It's been non-stop action. I love it.
Excellent time riders series book. This is number seven of nine. I read them all and pass them on to my nephew who collects them. Two to go I think. Alex Scarrow knows how to hold your interest even as an adult.
Currently on this book. Alex is a genius and after I get to the ninth book I'm totally going to check out his other work. So obsessed with timeriders:)
