作者简介There is a shelf of books by Lane Smith. Grandpa Green, It's a Book, and the middle grade novel Return to Augie Hobble dwell there, among others. In 2012, the Eric Carle Museum named him a Carle Artist for "lifelong innovation in the field of children's picture books," and in 2014, he was awarded the lifetime achievement award from the Society of Illustrators. He lives in an old house in Connecticut with the designer Molly Leach and a scurry of flying squirrels.

An evolution in the usually outstanding work of this author. Lovely pictures plenty of rhythm and joy. The reader connect with the character, this connection grow bigger as the girl behavior mischiefs and funny movements, goes on and arrive to her tribe. Lovely.
My 3 1/2 year old loves this book. The story is adorable and the illustrations are beautiful. I would definitely recommend this book.
The little doll for whom I bought this loved the book as did his mom. It is his favorite book, beautifully illustrated with a story that. He is 27 months and completely understood the concept.
Love this book! The illustrations are wonderful, and I have learned a lot along with my kids.
