The spirits dance like fire in the sky. . . .
The three cubs—Kallik, Toklo, and Lusa—along with their shape-shifting companion, Ujurak, stand on the edge of the sea-ice under the blazing Northern Lights. The land has come to an end, but the bears' journey is far from over. Now they must put their trust in Kallik's paws, as she feels the ice pulling her out toward the ocean.
Life on the ice is more difficult than the bears imagined. While Kallik struggles to remember her polar bear roots, Toklo bristles in the unfamiliar territory and Lusa gets weaker by the day; black and brown bears don't belong on the ice. Meanwhile, Ujurak learns firsthand what lurks beneath the whorls and bubbles of the ice, and what he discovers will change everything.
Just when it seems like they'll never survive in the frozen wilderness, a mystical encounter with a bear spirit assures them that all will be well. But this strange vision leads to even more questions, and ultimately it might tear the bears apart—this time for good—as the next steps of their journey come into focus.

This indeed was a good book and a wonderful addition to this series but there were some details about this book that were less than desirable. First, I noticed that a majority of the book was just mindless was arguing between the characters Tolko and Kallik. There were also a few other details than displeased me but I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone. All in all it was a very good read and I recommend it to all lovers of Erin Hunters work.
I have just finished reading the Seekers searies . What an amazing set of books . Through the eyes ff a Bear we learn about our world with such pation.The the Bears in this searies come to life and share thier stories, but also thier love of nature and thier fears for the land .As i read these book , they became my friends and I look at our world different .I could not wait to start the next book.
What a great lesson for all of us.

My kids and I started listening to the Seeker series on audiobook during our drive time. It's an engrossing series that we have all really enjoyed. It has also inspired us to learn more about bears. This summer we even went to the Canadian Rockies and saw live bears, including a grizzly in a refuge and a wild black bear sow and her cub. When the kids saw the black bear cub, they shouted with joy -- "It's Lusa!"
I started reading her Cat Warrior series and got hooked. I have all of the books in the series thus far. I started the Seeker series and I like them too. Not as much as the Warrior series but close. I am on book six now and just ordered the next three. Oh and I am not a kid. I am a 48 year old woman who loves animals and enjoys the innocence of the stories. Reading them is very relaxing for me as well as interesting.
I love this book very much. When I started reading the series I thought it was so sweet. With me I always like how she puts a hook on the end of every chapter. These books can be sad but you really can never put them down.If you want an animal story to read I suggest Erin Hunters books!!!!!!!!!!
