Great little informative paperback for kids. I bought it for a four year old boy who loves to help 'garden' with me. She likes the pictures and my interpretation of them more than what is written in this book. Its a little hard for her to grasp this one. When I read it as written she loses interest quite fast. So I make it up as we go. I gave five stars because it is a good purchase and all kids are different. The pictures are wonderful
This is a really accessible early learning book about plants. I really like how it focuses on what a plant actually is, the parts of a plant with comparison to the parts of a person and the essential things a plant needs to grow and be healthy. The book is a good length for bedtime and the pictures are really excellent. You really can't go wrong with this reasonably priced book to introduce a young person to plants and plant biology.
Very nice book to start teaching toddlers about plants. My daughter was 3 when we got it and she liked it very much...aaside from teaching hands-on about plants, the book makes for perfect addition to our educational collection. Yes, I recommend this book!
GREAT READING IT WAS VERY LIKING...
I have used this to supplement a science lesson, and I let the students check it out. It is an AR book, so the kids in my class really enjoy reading it, then taking a test. This year my 19 students read over 834,000 words!
