Missy knows she is supposed to complete the tour along with the rest of her class, but does Missy do anything like everyone else? Susan Nees graduated with honors from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She has also received the American Institute of Graphic Arts Award (AIGA). Her artwork can be found at the Low Library of Columbia University and in special collections at Princeton, as well as in other collections. I'm part of a volunteer one-on-one after school reading program. My fourth grade partner loved books 2 and 3 in this series, so I ordered books 1 and 4 to complete our set. She is telling the other kids what great books these are. I really enjoyed helping her read the series - they are a great entry into chapter books. Missy and Oscar are wonderful characters who have really fun adventures. I can't wait for our granddaughters to be old enough to read this series.

I got this and many others for my niece after getting her the first two after they were initially published. My only problem was that by the time I go these, my niece's reading level advanced so much that she read five of them in one night! She loved them. They are great for early readers.

My 5 year old daughter loves this series.

This is just the series to get the reluctant reader hooked. It has an interesting story line that the student, in my case girls, can relate to, it is a "chapter" book and there is an occasional word that needs to be decoded. Absolutely wonderful.

I've had a hard time finding books for my 1st grader to read that she actually likes. This series is a great introduction to chapter books. The chapters are relatively short and quick to read.
