My grandson loves the Flat Stanley books and I thought the Flat Stanley and the Haunted House would be perfect for him to read as we are nearing Halloween. He loves the book and it helps him with his reading skills.
Easy to read, but too short. Not much to the story. We liked Flat Stanley plays Baseball better. Still okay.
I liked reading this book with my Mom because is a good beginner book. My favorite part of the book was when he dressed up as a pancake! Warning: there are a few big words.

The "I Can Read Series" is a great way to check out grade level appropriate books for kids. My students LOVE these and the determined level for the book material is right on!
