Ask me what I like?

What do you like?

A father and daughter walk through their neighborhood, brimming with questions as they explore their world. With so many things to enjoy, and so many ways to ask—and talk—about them, it's a snapshot of an ordinary day in a world that's anything but. This story is a heartwarming and inviting picture book with a tenderly written story by Bernard Waber and glorious illustrations by Suzy Lee.

My two year old loves this book. It's written as a dialogue between father and a curious daughter. It has lovely illustrations of the two spending a fall day in the park. It's quite nice.

Story was creepy... Father seemed more like a predator w/cap pulled down over face. Didn't like it, tried to return it but Amazon said keep it. I donated it instead...

This is a colorful bedtime story with engaging art. Children will want to study the pictures. It's about a daughter and father asking questions and just conversing about what the daughter likes. At the end she gets a gentle tuck-in and goodnight kiss from her dad. Ask me what I like can be a good conversation starter. There isn't much plot in this story - more of a dialogue.

The colors are vibrant and illustrations are detailed.

You could then discuss what the child in your family likes.

"Ask Me" by Bernard Waber is about a little girl and her father
and the simple things they encounter on their walk on a beautiful fall
day. No plot, nothing dramatic occurs, and there are no messages other
than the sheer enjoyment of being together. The illustrations are gorgeous
and exuberant, and one is swept along in their pleasure. This book would
be a wonderful addition to any child's library (3-8).
