As fast paced as ever, with just the right mix of tense anticipation, lightening action and quick-witted humor. The only drawback to this book was the howls of protest from my 10, 8, and 5 year old each time I would have to tell them it was time for bed and I wasn't going to read the next chapter:)
The title says it all. really good. One thing i love about it is that characters that you think they might not appear again after the battle at osaka appears in this book. and there aremore awesome charactrs, although one of them died. A must read especially the fansof young samurai.
This storyline was not very original, there was an old movie named "7 Samurai" and it is obvious that story was used to write this book.
what a GREAT series for boys AND girls, 10-50. I bought these for my teen, and got addicted and read the whole series. lots of fun.
Wow I love this book. The reference to seven samurai was not missed. I recommend this book to everyone. The quotes are like my second best thing about this series. The first being the martial arts
