儿子非常喜欢的一本书，惊喜！

I am a huge Peanuts fan, and I have nothing but respect for Charles Schulz. That said, the comics written at the end of this life weren't quite as amusing/poignant/heartwarming as the ones he wrote back in the 60s and 70s. The comic strips in this book are the ones written in the last few months of his life, just prior to retirement. They are a nice thing for a die hard collector to have, as they are Schultz' goodbye pieces. But if you are just a casual fan, he had better stuff.

Snoopy is my favorite cartoon character and it gives me a smile to open my Kindle every day and see a few of his antics. I thought I'd read all the Peanuts collections, but there are some strips in here I don't remember seeing elsewhere. Even the familiar ones are still fun to read again. The graphics show up bright and crisp on my Kindle Fire, and overall the book is just a pleasure. I'm pacing myself so I don't finish too quickly because I need some Snoopy every day..

The book was a very quick read. I thought that I had seen every Peanuts strip ever drawn but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was wrong. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed rereading strips that I had previously read. however, it was nice to find material that I had never seen before. I hope they continue to offer additional volumes of the Peanuts comic strip in the Kindle store.

Who doesn't know Snoopy & the Peanuts? I've never really watched them or read the comics (I'm 35, from Germany, growing up in the GDR), so I didn't really know what I would get when I bought this as a Kindle Deal for $1.99. I really enjoyed it on the iPad and had lots of laughs. Again, it looks great on the iPad and I can only recommend it!

whether you are an adult who grew up with Snoopy, and that round-headed kid, or a child who is just being introduced.. it is a 5-star event. Sadly, just as you are looking forward to the next frame.. it is the end of the book. That's the only drawback :) Enjoy the whole Peanuts gang!
